Description

resolves #530

Type of change

Delete as appropriate:

  • ci: Changes to our CI configuration files and scripts (i.e., those in the .github directory)

Questions (Optional)

  • thoughts on the best way to handle the third task — adding documentation / codifying a workflow to update and run the action when a new repo is created?
