one idea i have for diamond ore is for it to drop as a block when mined, and the only way to get the item is via a crusher. so diamond gear will be locked behind brass age setups also villager trades will need to be disabled for armorer, toolsmith and weaponsmith |
Personally I'm against adding unnecessary items to complicate recipes, instead adding more processes |
This is just annoying playstyle imo. Reducing ore count is the right play here. |
Making gameplay annoying by adding unnecessary things to do doesn't make the players feel a sense of accomplishment. It just makes them more annoyed; much like Hypixel Skyblock. |

I know. I also said I am against that for the reason that it makes the gameplay annoying.
If people wanted that, they they had to option to vote for reducing ore count and improving it by advancing in tech. Voting results say people didn't want that. |
