trying to reduce rushing higher armour through one of these ways, or multiple combined

  • reduce spawning of ores, particularly diamonds and ancient debris
  • create above and beyond style ores. i.e. iron ore drops crushed iron ore, crushed/smelted to get 3 nuggets, so around 3 nuggets per ore
  • complicating recipes. ie changing netherite recipe to include lots of jackshit

one idea i have for diamond ore is for it to drop as a block when mined, and the only way to get the item is via a crusher. so diamond gear will be locked behind brass age setups

also villager trades will need to be disabled for armorer, toolsmith and weaponsmith

Personally I'm against adding unnecessary items to complicate recipes, instead adding more processes

This is just annoying playstyle imo. Reducing ore count is the right play here.

Making gameplay annoying by adding unnecessary things to do doesn't make the players feel a sense of accomplishment. It just makes them more annoyed; much like Hypixel Skyblock.

Voting conclusion:
Retain ore count, change ore drops, player needs to process ore to get the desired material

thats what i mean, add more things/processes to the recipe

This is just annoying playstyle imo.

drops are meant to be improved through tech, so like crushed wheels and shiet

I know. I also said I am against that for the reason that it makes the gameplay annoying.

This is just annoying playstyle imo.

If people wanted that, they they had to option to vote for reducing ore count and improving it by advancing in tech. Voting results say people didn't want that.
