Public API limitations

Hereby a list of all known public API limitations we are facing. All items on the list, represent a feature we can't implement in Kliva in reference to the official Strava apps.

Activity segments overview

The public API only allows to retrieve segment information for activities of the current logged in user. So no overview of segments on activities that are not your own.

Photo overview

The public API only allows to retrieve photo information for activities of the current logged in user. So no overview of photo's on activities that are not your own.

Photo upload

The public API does not allow photo upload. Sadly this is not available on the site either, so you'll need to link Instagram or use the official app on another platform.

Club information

The public API will not provide information regarding of who are the owners of a given club, so we can't indicate this on the members list of a club.

Goals

Premium members are able to set goals. The public API will not provide goals and progress on them.
