v3.0.0

3.0.0 (2023-11-26)

⚠ BREAKING CHANGES

New Requirements

  • drop support for Node 16 which is EOL, Node >=18.0.0 is now required
    • also change build target to ES2021
  • the lerna run --use-nx was deprecated in 2.0 and is now removed
  • the lerna version option --skip-bump-only-release (singular) was renamed to --skip-bump-only-releases (plural) to better represent the command which is only useful in independent mode

Description

I decided to remove lerna run --use-nx option in order to keep Lerna-Lite as light as possible and to remove any Nx related code from the project. If you wish to use Nx and Lerna together, then I strongly suggest that you use the original Lerna since it is supported by the same team and the latest version of Lerna is also requiring Nx. I also want to reiterate that I am now publishing Lerna-Lite on npm with --provenance, which Lerna-Lite support, via GitHub Action (read this GitHub blog for more info).

Looks like these dependencies are updatable in another way, so this is no longer needed.
