Is there any way to alter distance between text lines?

First and most important of all thank you very much for great piece of software! I have been looking for something to replace Notepad++ in Linux. The search has come to its happy end, finally.

I wonder if it is possible to change distance between text lines (what one normally does with declaration, say, line-height: 1.5 in css). While I have failed to find any parameter to alter the height, it is difficult to believe there is none, given the amount of various configuration options.
