Strange, I can reproduce even from US IP & w/ English locale setting.

Make sure you're not using Tracking Protection filter or not blocking googletagmanager.

Is scrolling locked by this popup?
When you remove fc-ab-root element, can you read the page or some overlay exists?

Yes locked. If I remove, I can read the contents tho can't scroll. The body was set to overflow: hidden; so these filters fixed the issue:
gendai.ismedia.jp##div.fc-ab-root
gendai.ismedia.jp#$#body { overflow: visible!important; }

Also there's a placeholder left:

This fixed it for example:
gendai.ismedia.jp#?#div:has(> div > div#GB_pc_under_left_Rectangle)
EDIT: maybe this is better?
