Dear Dr. Zhang and Dr. Tao,
This update of V3 includes:
Accommodate the updated testmodel diagnosis, using an E3SMv2 input as an example. And is tested using both 1-hourly and 3-hourly testmodel inputs.
For the annual_cycle_zt and diurnal_cycle metrics: add the auto-detection of testmodel temporal resolution (currently support 1hr & 3hr), based on the input testmodel filename (for instance: [enatestmodel3hrC1.c1.nc]; [enae3smsmoke1t1hrC1.c1.nc]). And I have fixed the legacy problem of the UTC to local time conversions for different sites in the diurnal CF cycles.
I have added the option of user input of starting and ending years of the testmodel, in order to make a correct climatology in the diurnal_cycle metric (default is 1979-2006 same as the CMIP data).
For the other metrics, the visualizations and the format of the HTML files are updated.
Please feel free to test the new version and let me know if any questions.
Best,
Xiaojian
