We're current using gopkg.in/mgo.v2 which is no longer supported.

The project should be migrated to the official driver go.mongodb.org/mongo-driver.

The current mongodb driver doesn't work with mongodb 6.0, due to https://www.mongodb.com/docs/v6.0/release-notes/6.0-compatibility/#legacy-opcodes-removed
