Hi,
I'm using an obsidian plugin called "Colored Tags Wrangler" that allows me to specify a default background color for any given obsidian tag. This way, whenever I write something like #merlot, this tag automatically gets formatted with a specific colored background (red in my case).
Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to work well with the Excalidraw plugin: if I type #merlot in a text object or a square, etc, I can see the tag (it's searchable in obsidian) but it's not formatted with the red background. I tried changing fonts but it doesn't help.
If I look at the markdown format of the file, then the tag is shown correctly, but not in the Excalidraw Drawing view.
See the attached screenshot for better understanding.
Any idea on how to get the colored format in the excalidraw drawing or any workaround to accomplish the same thing in excalidraw (get automated coloring of the tags based on the tag name)?
I'd like to switch from canvas to excalidraw but this is the only thing left to stop me.
Thanks!
