  1. A post group (by hashtag/tag/category, whatever) menu
    • Across top of page
    • Could (or should) this be achieved with Section Navigation?
  2. Pinned posts on post group pages
  3. Optional customizable post group description that would display at top of post group page

Related observations:

  • Micro.blog's underlying templating is powered by Hugo but I find that Hugo templating is exceedingly frustrating to achieve what feels like simple things. For example, adding a distinct page heading for different category pages.
  • Working with hugo templates in Micro.blog's online editor is very challenging.
    1. There's no preview
    2. When you click to update the template there is an indeterminate amount of time for the change to take effect
    3. There's no syntax awareness in the editor. For HTML/markup, this gets messy quick

I think the theming considerations are probably something to explore independently of "how would we like to make browsing entries a bit nicer"

But I did make an issue for adding a zinc-collective#20
