This is a very biased list of "smaller" items that I think would have a good impact on users. By "small," I mean, not Remote-SSH-Development big. This is similar to @mikayla-maki's User Friction meta issue, and has some overlap, but it's different in that it tries to focus on things that are smaller in nature. I could certainly be wrong about some of these not being large things to implement, I'm just sort of guessing here.

Admittedly, I wrote a good chunk of these issues, hence the "biased" element. I also purposely swerved major language support issues, as we now have a central language support meta issue to discuss and track those (still would love to spend some time officially figuring that out as a team).

These are in no certain order

Fun fact: I went through the ~700 issues in the Feedback repo and the Zed repo and made this list once. I seized an opportunity to practice my list-making skills when I accidentally deleted the list and had to go through the whole operation again :).

I feel like like we could rip through a few of these every week. I'm not confident I'd be of much help working on these sort of tasks, my time is probably best spent continuing work on the zed.dev stuff (email system, getting some tests in, etc), but I'd be willingly to try, if other's wanted to bring me into their collaboration sessions and expose me to more of the Zed codebase.

I was incorrect - this list is basically exactly what Mikayla did in the aforementioned issue. I was thinking of the pain point burn down list. I'm going to move these over there and close this one - having 2 separate lists doesn't help us out.
