I'm missing fonts for OpenSpades whenever I launch. I don't get any errors.. Just no text at all.
I really want to use this, but this bug makes it a pain to configure!
Arch x64

This might be videodriver problem. There were reports on bns forums about issue like this. Can you give more info about your x server setup? Vendor/driver/etc.
Also, provide some screenshots please.

I will as soon as I get back into Linux. I'm using an Intel GMA chip (I don't remember what type, I'll have to find out) and I think the generic driver, MATE desktop w/ LightDM.

LSPCI output:

Dell Inspiron N7010. I'm not sure what driver it's using.
(Yes, all optional and required dependencies are installed)

Dunno, but maybe it's related to #113
Problem was with AMD drivers last time, though issue looks similar.

Looks like it differs from #113 because the software rendered startup window is also affected.

OK, just installed OpenSpades on a Mint 16 system. Runs fine, fonts are there. I'm going to try a clean install and see if that helps at all..

Still nothing. I'm about ready to give up on OpenSpades.. Which stinks, since I only use a Linux system.

Does this issue still persist in the latest version?

@nuclearsubstation I will close this thread.

You can reopen it if you're still interested in running OpenSpades in arch and solving this problem.
