Description

This issue has been reported multiple times over the last month or so (#23516, #23253, #23261, #23251, #23244, #23239, #23236). It appears that the issue has been fixed in d1b2722, but a version with the fix has yet to be released. I am using the latest 2019-12-25 version - would love any advice as to how to update to a version that includes the fix.

For anybody else blocked on the new release, turns out it's pretty easy to just run youtube-dl from source. Clone this repo and then run make. Feel free to ignore any errors about pandoc etc. as long as the youtube-dl binary is created.

Hey Ashoat. Does this apply to Youtube-DLG as well? Having this issue but do not understand what you are saying in your response.
