Description

I have following structure of deck

  • Sentence bank -> to copy from if I need a good audio
  • Vocab deck -> root split into all Tango decks + mining deck
    • Mining deck -> Yomitan puts cards here
    • Tango deck -> with all N5-N1 tango vocab

I noticed a weird behavior when I was testing which option to select when Yomitan is searching for duplicates with (Duplicate card scope)

Collection -> Works as expected, if I have a word added to the Sentence bank, it shows the open book icon I can see which notes already use this word:

obraz

Deck -> also works as expected, if I dont have this word in my main Mining deck, it looks only there and I can add this word with a green icon:

obraz

However, if I am selecting the option "Deck root", so it should search only inside my Vocab - Mining and Vocab Tango decks, when it detects a duplicate, it only shows the purple icon to add a duplicate, but it doesnt want to show me the duplicates (no open book icon), which makes it much harder to see where exactly is the duplicate

obraz

But as you can see, they are part of the same root ("tango"), so in theory, it should show:
obraz

So far my solution is to keep the duplicate search as Collection
