Please describe the enhancement you have in mind and explain what the current shortcomings are?

Investigate why the wrong linux version is showing when it's not in the production bundle.
Detect between linux 9 and 8. (other ones too?)
Give the option to hide the button for different user groups?

How would you imagine the implementation of the enhancemenent?
