Please describe the feature you have in mind and explain what the current shortcomings are?

Expanding on the concepts of the pipeline, providing an overview of how the system works. explaining different concepts like work and publish directories would be great.

This issue was inspired by https://community.ynput.io/t/sitesync-working-file/1860

How would you imagine the implementation of the feature?

maybe we can more page in the general section in user docs

or maybe we can expand in the admin section in introduction page.
