How can I have URL highlighted and underlined using Vim-notes plugin?

I'm on macOS Sierra 10.12.6 and using nvim with vim-notes plugin.

I'm able to use all the features documented by the Xolox/vim-notes page but I don't get any syntax highlighting applied to URLs and email addresses, as per the screen shot of the syntax mode reported on that page by the author where they are coloured and underlined.

If I write an URL or a email address in a vim note, they remain as plain text.

Did anybody manage to have that?
