What steps will reproduce the problem?
On Windows:
1.Move cursor to character of existing name
2.Hit delete key
3.Close form
Often the name displayed now will have some corrupt characters to the right.
4.Open model form again and try to insert the character back into the name...
not possible.
It seems the field in the form is blank padded, and you must delete the
trailing blanks to write a new name.
Further if you delete some characters from a name, it seems you often get
corrupted characters moved in from the right.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r367 on Windows.
Please provide any additional information below.
Often the name field is not editable after such a corruption.
The exclamation mark in the attachment is such a corruption.
