proper shutdown of async tasks?

Observed/Actual behavior

server was a little laggy (machines blocks were taking a long time to open on right click etc) went to shutdown to restart server and console outputted this following error on shutdown:

This task may throw errors during the final shutdown logs and might not complete before process dies.

Additional context

server log has some lettering as it's outputted by host.
the lastest.log was shorter than expected (only contained me leaving the server and the shutdown messages) so excluded it
