Keep original quotes or rewrite to streamline the style?

Quotes of different people obviously are in different styles. Decide whether to rewrite those quotes to minimze text and to streamline the style, at the cost of losing the original text and possible a bit of feeling that real people like you and me are building Decred.

jazzah: I guess the main concern with this format is the fact that it is less slick/streamlined. Also it may be confusing to people who have never heard about all the individuals mentioned. Nevertheless, I really like the way you did it, mentioning source material as often as you can, this is a practice sorely lacking generally today imo

One idea I had is to rewrite the quotes but keep the credit, e.g. from

@person: Decred is now available on X

to

Decred is now available on X (thanks @person for the news).
