Hi, for some weird reason one of my monitors that has worked perfectly fine with twinkle tray for years has suddenly started acting up. On reboot there is about a 30% chance that twinkle tray recognizes it. If it isn't recognized immediately, I can spam the refresh display button around 10-30 times and eventually it will show up and (usually) work fine afterwards. This seems unrelated to twinkle tray updates as I also get the problem on older versions now. Using ControlMyMonitor it usually works fine (around 70% rate of success here) but whenever it fails it spits out this error:
Error 0xc026258b: An error occurred because the checksum field in a DDC/CI message did not match the message's computed checksum value. This error implies that the data was corrupted while it was being transmitted from a monitor to a computer.
I thought this might be related to my DP cable giving up, but the error persists on a fresh new cable.
Any ideas what could cause this?
