In order to properly support the execution of HTC and HPC jobs via an HTCondor pool, we need to implement the support for different universes, such as vanilla or standard, and grid with batch support (https://htcondor.readthedocs.io/en/stable/grid-computing/grid-universe.html).

This paper provides a good overview of the architecture to be implemented.
