Shawn Hall writes...

The Pro version appears to be lacking the ability to auto-cache based on an xml sitemap. Will this functionality be returning? For a couple of my sites I really need to be able to queue various sections to minimize peak load. Will there be a way to do this?

@shawnkhall This did not make it into the initial rewrite of Quick Cache (or Quick Cache Pro); e.g. it's not a feature offered by the latest release. However, there are plans to implement this again after careful consideration. You can look for this to come in one of the next two maintenance releases. This will be a Quick Cache Pro feature.

Until then, the previous release of Quick Cache still includes this functionality.

Is there an exposed trigger or filter or other way of enqueueing URLs for caching in the current release?

@raamdev With your OK, I'd like to volunteer to add this back into the current release of Quick Cache Pro. What do you think? It's something that I've already written in the past, it just never made it into the rewrite. Also, if you want me to work on this, can you please let me know if it should be a Pro-only feature?

@JasWSInc Yes, it would be great if you could work on this for me, for Quick Cache Pro.

I'll add this to the Next release milestone.
