[Reader IA][Bug] Inconsistent reader UI state under circumstances going over quickstart

Expected behavior

When Subscriptions is selected and we go into the reader quickstart step, the Discover feed is autoselected by the quickstart step and the Subscriptions blogs and sites should be not present in the UI

Actual behavior

When Subscriptions is selected and we go into the reader quickstart step, the Discover feed is autoselected by the quickstart step but the Subscriptions blogs and sites are not removed (and do not respond to taps anyways)

Steps to reproduce the behavior

• Select Subscriptions in the reader drop down menu
• Go into the Quickstart "Connect with other sites" step

• Go into the reader
• Notice the Discover feed is correctly selected but the blogs and tags pills are not removed from the UI
