Currently this window (I don't know what it's called) will disappear when I open another tab. I find it convenient to have that window always displayed while navigating to and fro across the files.

The symbol list window will be destroyed if the tab is a preview tab and the preview document is changed.
I understand what you want.
I will try to find a way to implement that.
