Hi @philiparthurmoore,
I am running WordPress 3.9.1 with both the Subtitles and Widget Builder (http://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-builder/) plugins active.
I just tried updating the Subtitles plugin to the latest version (1.0.3) and I'm getting an error message next to each instance of a Widget Builder widget. Error reads;
Warning: Missing argument 2 for Subtitles::the_subtitle() in /[...]/wp-content/plugins/subtitles/public/class-subtitles.php on line 510
Other than that the plugin is great and the previous version worked perfectly - exactly what I needed, thanks.
