I moved the Interop 2024 process doc into Google Docs so that we can improve it.

Notes

  • Reviewing State of HTML results
    • foolip: Lea Verou would present the results to this group. Let’s schedule some time.
    • Consensus: scheduling a separate meeting for the week of 23rd
  • Close CSS Scroll Snap #492 in favor of the carryover issue - Carryover evaluation: Scrolling #471?
  • Interop 2023 carryover discussion
    • First round of decision making completed. Further review required closer to Dec, 2023.
  • Landing PR Add a proposal for the Interop 2024 process #390 - next steps
    *
    • jensimmons: we need to discuss mechanics of publishing results
    • foolip: we had retrospective feedback on providing frequent updates. That said, how and when needs to be decided.
    • jgraham: for round 1 since it’s just on technical grounds, I think we have the option to communicate early. Round 2 and 3 results are more nuanced and can be communicated in Jan.
    • dandclark: assumption was that we would wait till the end. Would like to see the cumulative decisions published. No objection to sharing round 1 feedback early.
    • bkardell: we could keep it flexible. Should be open for the team to decide to give an update, but not required.
    • Consensus: The team can decide after round 1 to inform proposal authors. How that would be done is not decided till after round 1.
  • Setup disqualification meeting for Oct 19th
    • Agreed on.
    • AI: nairnandu will send out a doc to collect feedback ahead of time.
