QUESTION: any recommendation for Ubuntu/Linux

Sorry to pollute the issues here but I'm wondering was there any alternative suggestion for Ubuntu, I love this on macOS but understand it's not in the cards to expand to other OS's, please send help linux is in the stone ages.

There should be various tools on Linux to control DDC or cover various other aspects of the app but I don't think there is an app that has the exact same feature set or similar UI.

Let's see, maybe others chime in. I am not using Linux except for some server environments so can't give specific recommendations.

Thank you so much, if anyone knows I'm keen for that killer feature of "over amplifying the screen brightness" I use it on my mac's with BetterDisplay and it's a life saver my vision isn't great.

I'm sure there is a command line or display driver setting to override for linux for in my experience its very easy to "brick your display" If there was a GUI anyone can recommend that would be so amazing, open to wayland or X11
