Clone view

In the clone view mode every time I click on a view both become grey for one second so it's impossible to write.

Thanks for the report. Yes, that is happening and annoyingly the behavior is different with different window manager in my case. I think that ubuntu compiz especially has some problem with this.

This is related to size request event and getting the results from UI. I guess I implicitly assume some ordering between events, which is not always true. In the long run, we migrate hoodle to gtk3, and size request procedure in gtk3 is much different from gtk2, so I will tackle gtk3 port first.
