unable to build on RHEL 6.3 #17

During the linking stage, MOSAIK fails to build when trying to link the zlib library:

Building in MosaikBuild
- compiling BuildMain.cpp
- compiling MosaikBuild.cpp
- linking MosaikBuild
  /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lz
  collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
  make[1]: *** [MosaikBuild] Error 1
  make: *** [all] Error 1

Make sure that you remove "-static" from includes/linux.inc

This should work:

# define our processor specific flags
export PLATFORM_FLAGS = -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64
#export PLATFORM_FLAGS = -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -static
