Q A
Device? iPhone 13
Device Os version 17.7
App Version 7.3.0
Wallabag server version ?, using wallabag.it

Steps to reproduce/test case

  1. Turn device horizontally so that the UI is displayed in landscape orientation
  2. Open an article
  3. The title and the chrome/controls take up well over 1/3 of the space on the screen. The user has to scroll much more than they should have to because of this, and reading in landscape orientation is unpleasant because of it. Here is a screenshot:

Improvement

Either:

  1. make title font significantly smaller and truncate it after one line, OR
  2. Show the title only at the start of the article, hiding it as the user scrolls down, OR
  3. Create a "focus" mode that hides that title/chrome
