This MathML profile is related to the scenario when the MathML does not belong to any Web page.
For example, when an equation editor is used for editing a formula, when the formula is copied into the clipboard or when the MathML fragment is part of a XML document other than HTML5 (for example, DITA or FO).
What makes this scenario special is that all styling should be specified inside the formula and it is not possible to rely on the definition of styles with the attribute class somewhere else. In addition, it might not be a full CSS engine when the formula is rendered. Following this idea, perhaps is necessary to specify what CSS styles are accepted.
