Generally speaking, we need to balance what goes into the manifest with the UI that the storefront provides... that is, we don't need to solve every use case in the manifest.json: The store can ingest a manifest for a web app, and then allow the developer to pick which image they would like to use as their featured one, for instance.

As we start seeing multiple stores IRL doing this, then we should work with them to standardize these (on an as needed basis).
