SQLFire requires the hostname to be resolvable, had to add my hostname to /etc/hosts for 127.0.0.1. The install guide already specifies adding "127.0.0.1 localhost nanodbserver" to /etc/hosts but you must also make sure your host name is resolvable in DNS or is in /etc/hosts.
