GKE cluster appears Down

Using
Nexus 5x
Android 8.1.0
bitnami 0.4.2

Login with Google, I see my projects, select the one with the cluster and see the cluster and add it.
The cluster always seems down.
(I'm not the only one in my company seeing the same problem)

Same issue, on OnePlus 5, app version 0.4.2 as well.

Cluster appears down after adding it, and I also need to re-add it every time I open the app.

Nexus5x, 8.1. The same problem. Cluster have status down.
Also I see there is the same problem with Kubernetic.
Maybe it was some change in GKE api?

it would be interesting to test with an older version. afaik 1.9.2 is not the default in GKE.

For a 1.8.6 the cluster was showing as up for me.

Might also be an RBAC configuration. Is your 1.9.2 cluster using the legacy authentication system or plain RBAC ?

Oh yup, 1.9.2 is in beta.
Currently legacy but I'll be recreating cluster and will use RBAC
