Native-Guide

Native-Guide is an android application that mimics the functionalities of Google Navigation in native Indian languages such as Tamil and Hindi.

To run the android application,

  1. Download the source code and open it in an IDE such as Eclipse.

  2. Eclipse should have preinstalled Android components such as Android SDK,Google Maps API etc.

3)Run the application in an Android Emulator.

This application can also be run in an Android phone. To do this,

  1. Copy the .apk file present in the Native-Guide/bin/ folder called Nativeguide.apk to the cell phone and install it.

  2. Once the .apk file has been installed, the android app is ready to run.
