Hey team - just an FYI - I'm thinking about deprecating plagiarism_get_form_elements for the standard module callback (supported since Moodle 3.1)
coursemodule_standard_elements
One of the big advantages of this is that it's called by every coursemodule type in Moodle and it also comes with corresponding validation and edit_post_actions callbacks.
No particular timeframe - I'm not in a big hurry to do this, just seems like something that makes sense - particularly as it gives us the ability to perform validation a bit better.
