I may be repeating myself, but thank you for the excellent work you have done. The plugin works really perfectly.
However, I have a question, how exactly should the switch between energy-comfort-water modes work?
My idea was that if I switch to "energy" the recuperation will switch to energy saving mode and thus turn off the compressor and run only passively. That doesn't work for me though.. Or did I understand wrong? Thanks in advance for your help.

I have just assumed every Nilan device has these options.

If your device does not have this, I can remove it.

Yes, I found this. However, changing it to off have no effect. The compressor continues to run and the unit continues to cool, with no sign of a drop in supply air temperature. But that will probably be the behavior of my unit. Switching manually via the controller behaves in the same way... Or will the setting react after some time?

I have no idea... you will have to ask Nilan for help on how to use your Nilan device.
