I know this is probably something that is no longer a priority or being developed much, but I wanted to see if there could be anything done about getting a certain camera to work.
I have recently come across Camera Live and CamTwist trying to use my Samsung NX1 to stream. I noticed that in Camera Live Version 11 the NX1 isn't recognized at all, but in Version v12/13, it is.
The issue is that when the camera is selected in Camera Live v12/13, the app says Camera Error.
The next issue is that CamTwist recognizes a camera is connected but shows a blank/black screen. The camera is in PTP mode, Photo + AUTO mode, and is connected directly by USB3 to Mac Pro 6,1 running Monterrey.
When I run the OBS software it also recognizes the Camera Live with the NX1 name, and CamTwist. Selecting either one, does not show any video.
Last Issue, when I accidentally left the Camera Live v12/13 running as I tried to troubleshoot, the system reported that the camera had filled the capacity of the computer. As I force quit the application, then storage was cleared. But when I ran the application again, when the camera is selected (showing an error in the Camera Live app) it began to increment the storage being used (whether Hard drive or RAM I am not sure) but it seems something of high capacity was coming through, maybe the 4k video or so but without a view to it.
I know the Libgphot2 since version x.25.x added the Samsung NX1 to the list of recognized and supported cameras.
I am wondering if there could be anything done to try and add the functionality to Camera-Live to be able to recognize and stream from the Samsung NX1.
Thank you
