Integration tests for loader/server interactions

We have tests for the server as well as the client loaders, but do not yet have tests that verify that they correctly work together. API changes should be rare moving forward, but having integration tests that exercise client/server interactions would give us confidence as we make changes on either side that we haven't accidentally broken something.

This project has been shut down. This issue has been left open as a guide for anyone forking this project — addressing this issue (or at least knowing about it!) is likely to be worthwhile for you if you are maintaining a running copy or fork of UNIVAF.
