As the title says, adding Next and Previous buttons to the top/bottom/both of the page would significantly streamline navigation through questions, especially when completing them sequentially.

Thanks @MrConorAE, that's a great suggestion. While there is no specific order to questions, we are looking at implementing a recommendation system, and that could easily show a 'next' question option.
Although they may not be in difficulty order, simply going to the next one in the list would also work
I think the URL has a number on the end for the question number, could the button(s) increment/decrement that?
The number is the question ID, which is calculated based on the order the questions are added, so you could end up with a really odd order of questions, or multiple questions in a row that are pretty much the same. This is part of one of the university student projects we organising this year, which is organised in the next few months.
Sadly this project isn't funded so we can only work on it in our spare time, so it's unlikely any changes will happen in a hurry. If I get time soon, I may be able to implement a basic 'Give me another question' button.
