Videos documenting side by side load speed comparisons of a complex site
The first video is a page load speed comparison between uBlock and no blocker. It is very useful, and demonstrates how much faster pages load when some of their content is filtered.
The second video is a page load speed comparison between uBlock and Adblock Plus (ABP). This is much less useful, because there is no data as to what filter lists were used when that video was created. If the video represents an "apples to apples" comparison, then it is very useful. On the other hand, if it represents an "out of the box" comparison, it does not accurately reflect speed differences between uBlock and ABP (or Adblock Edge, aka ABE). Why? Because uBlock includes, by default, a larger number of filter lists than ABP. But users can easily add (and remove) more filter lists in both extensions. Two advantages of uBlock are that (1) it is designed to handle more filters, and (2) it can import hosts lists. Regardless, to provide an accurate and unbiased load speed comparison of uBlock and ABP, both need to use the same filter lists.
The final video compares CPU use between uBlock and ABP. Again, without clear documentation of the filters being used, this video is of limited value. However, since the tester generally used more filters for uBlock than with ABP, it is very likely that uBlock is actually even more CPU-efficient than this video indicates.
