Backup group before becoming supergroup

If I do a dump of a supergroup I only back up until the date it was converted to supergroup. How could I back up conversations and media from before being converted to supergroup?

The history of the group before it was converted is still associated with a regular group, with the group name it had just before being converted. Backing them up separately is the only way for now. Related comment.
