Oh, I'm sorry for the oversight. I wasn't aware that the translation button is hidden here. Previously, I was using another Mastodon client, as shown in the figure, where the translation button is displayed directly below the toot, which is very intuitive and convenient. |
On https://mas.to/@jantzen/113492076371867789 when using 'Translate' (system language English) I get "Could not translate: HTTP 403" Is this a local issue/is it supposed to work, or should I follow this up as a bug? |
The 403 is when we try to translate from or to a language that is not supported by the server. Tusky currently only checks if translation is generally enabled but not for which specific languages. We should do that sometimes, yes |
