There is also the openvpn-monitor tool that is so interesting.

Hi @prassaschr. Apologies on slow response.

openvpn-monitor looks cool and on face value would be a great addition to the OpenVPN appliance. Unfortunately though it looks like it's "abandonware" - see here: furlongm/openvpn-monitor#280

Also, it's perhaps worth noting that in some usage scenarios, OpenVPN and it's web interface are publicly available - so some sort of auth would be required. It's not a complete showstopper because "basic http auth" could be used, but not really ideal...
