Re-acquainting myself with the spec. IMHO, this is the crown jewel statement:

Does Entity X have Authorization Y, in the context of Ecosystem Governance Framework Z?

I am wondering if this can be generalized further to

Is Entity X recognized for Status Y, in the context of Ecosystem Governance Framework Z?

This is to account for all those use cases where a registrar might only be in the business of formally recognizing a status (e.g., Professional Engineer, MD), but not explicitly authorizing anything.
