create a 0.9.9 release?

would it be possible to tag a 0.9.9 release so it can be picked up by distributions such as NixOS?

Hi @armijnhemel. Thanks for your message. I'll work on this, but it's not a quick thing. I have to ensure consistency and I'm particularly worried the fix in 65ce387. It really needs more testing before tagging a new release and I don't recommend anyone to use the code from the git branch in production.
