Does TrackMate have an established beta-testing mechanism? More specifically, what is the easiest way for users to test the v8 branch?
The current v8 code already has quite a bit enhanced support for 3D data. Accordingly, we have implemented 3d-mesh support in our detector for quite a while now, but it is quite cumbersome to expose these functionalities to even our internal users, because of the v8 dependency.
So checking with upstream in case there is an existing channel for distributing v8 package (a beta-testing update server?).

Thanks for the update. We will update our code accordingly.
Although a quick look at the v9 branch showed that the artifact version is still set at 8.0.0-SNAPSHOT. Is that intended?
