It doesn't seem to be a very serious bug, as after zooming/panning operation is finished, everything goes back to the right place. The problem I have found is when a drag or zoom starts, the area top curve get's the colour of the line feature, while the line feature gets the colour and the shape of the top curve of the area feature. It happened when there was one line and one area feature within a composite feature.

Could you please share a small example to reproduce the issue?
For example using https://bl.ocks.org/ ?

You can see two things there:

  1. When you first try to pan the board, the lines are mixed up.
  2. When the board is resized, one of the lines is removed.
