This extension has been renamed "Supported Groups" in the drafts of TLS 1.3 and FFDHE.

Having different names for the same extension in different concurrent RFCs should be avoided.

Section 5.1.1 and other places should be updated accordingly.

The proper place to discuss the draft in the TLS mailing list. Would you
mind posting there?

To the question, we are revving an existing document. This extension
already has a name, and it appears in multiple code bases as well as
protocol analyzers like wireshark and in documents, websites and books.

I don't think we should change its name in TLS 1.2, but we should take this
to the list.

FWIW, RFC 7919 (August 2016) has renamed the IANA registry and the elliptic_curves extension too for TLS 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2.

This is noted in the draft in s5.1.1:

RFC 4492 defined 25 different curves in the NamedCurve registry (now
renamed the "Supported Groups" registry, although the enumeration
below is still named NamedCurve) for use in TLS.
